Seamus Matthews

Seamus Matthews

One of BAFFLE’s great comic poets Seamus Matthews sadly passed away in 2003 and is sorely missed by his family, friends and fellow Bafflers.

We know he liked William Butler Yeats and his ‘The Wild Swans at Coole’ and English poet Matthew Arnold. He also enjoyed reading "Daffodils” by Wordsworth.

He always said that as well as writing for BAFFLE he particularly enjoyed the banter and the craic in which he took full part.

His poems live on in several BAFFLE books and now on the net.

RIP
